Giclee are fine art digital prints made on ink jet printers using fade resistant archival inks (pigment based as well as solvent based inks. These are called reproductions of original artwork , not to be confused with Limited Edition prints. They do go through a similar process of the artist approving the quality with proofs. These reproductions (copies) are made on high quality Arches rough or smooth watercolor paper. Above is a sample of a Giclee reproduction .
